What do we do?

Throughout the school year and during Bama Bound, CASPA interacts with incoming and current students from all A&S disciplines. CASPA offers current students a chance to make areal impact on incoming students by sharing inside knowledge about the “REAL” student experience at UA. Peer Advisors are knowledgeable about campus resources, University requirements, campus life, student life, and the Tuscaloosa Community.

Who are we?

The College of Arts and Sciences Peer Advisors, or CASPA is a small, charismatic group of 16 students chosen to represent A&S throughout the school year and summer orientation. CASPA works directly with Academic Advisors to welcome new students, assist with class scheduling, as well as organizing events for current students like tailgates on the quad, fundraisers, community service and workshops.
